Gill was often told how lucky she was to have such a clever and practical husband, so after moving to the area during 2022 and getting settled, she decided to hire him out!

Darren spent his working career in both the Armed Forces and Fire Service. This combined with over 25 years’ experience in property renovation and maintenance (both in the owned and rental sectors) means he has the expertise to handle a wide variety of practical services for the interior and exterior of your home and garden.

Whether you need a door knob replaced, a curtain pole put up, a leaky tap fixed, or your new home ready to move in, he can help.
Is it putting up shelves, organising the TV mounting, installing all your bathroom accessories, hanging the pictures and mirrors, or assembling those furniture flatpacks?
Once you contact us and we chat through what you require, we will price as accurately as we can on an hourly basis for the smaller items, or provide a fixed quotation for anything larger. However, with our hourly rate work – if Darren finishes more quickly than expected, he will only charge the time it takes him.
